1. I am having a party and I would like to hire you to teach a painting class. How does it work?
A: A paint party is the perfect choice for a unique , fun activity for any event or party! Prior to the event you will get to choose from a variety of painting samples or have a customized painting design created for your event. The selected painting will be taught step-by-step at the event so that each person will be able to create a stunning masterpiece!
2. What ages do you teach and do you need experience painting to do this?
A: Anyone and everyone can paint! Parties can be done for any age from kids to adults. The level of difficulty will change based on the age of the partygoers.
3. Do I have to purchase supplies?
A: I bring all the necessary painting supplies, paint, canvas, brushes. palettes. I will send you an email before the event to specify exactly how to set up the tables for the most conducive environment.
4 How much does such an event cost?
A: Price depends on the amount of people participating as well as the location. Please contact me for a price quote.
5. How long does this take?
A: I can work within your time frame. The minimum for a painting class is 1 hour but it will usually take around 2 hours. I arrive 15-20 min prior to the event to set up.
6. How much in advance do I need to book an event?
A: The earliest you can book is a month before. I recommend booking an event at least 2 weeks prior.
7. Would you travel to teach a class?
A: I am located in Brooklyn, NY and I do travel for events all the time if I am able.
8. Can I hire you for a Bat Mitzvah?
A; Yes, I have done many Bat Mitzvahs and each one was unique with a specialized, custom design for that party.
1. I would like a custom Portrait how does the process work?
A: A portrait is a very personal piece of art that will be cherished for a lifetime. A variety of reference photos are requested of the subject. After choosing a size and the medium you want, I can begin the portrait.
2.What mediums do you work in?
A: Each medium creates a different effect and it is up to you to decide the style you want. The following options are available. Charcoal or graphite; it is black and white. White charcoal; it is used on a darker surface that emphasis light in the drawing. Sepia; a warmer monochromatic drawing. Pastel; for a painting in full color.
3. How long does it take?
A: It usually takes somewhere between 2-4 weeks
4. Do you frame the work?
A: I do not frame the work but I can recommend professional framing places for you to get the best quality, custom frame for your piece.

A: Classes are once a week for one hour for younger students and range from 1 1/2-2 hrs for high school students and adults
2.Q: How are semesters divided and what is learned in a semester?
A: Usually a semester is divided into 8 classes over a period of 8 weeks depending on the time of year and the Holiday schedule.
In each class we learn something new. Sometimes a project can take more then one class. Students will learn all the fundamentals of painting and drawing as well as art history and the numerous styles of art from realism to cubism. We use watercolors, acrylics, oil and chalk pastel, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil… and more.
3. Q: How big are the classes?
A: Classes are small with no more than 7-9 students per class. This allows each student to receive all the attention necessary to succeed.
4. Q: How many projects are completed in a semester?
Younger classes complete a project in 2-3 classes. The constant change in subject matter allows for the maximum amount of subject matter covered in the limited amount of time. This also prevents younger students from growing bored or frustrated with spending too many classes on one piece. Older students, who have more patience, will work on more complicated subject matter and will therefore spend more classes per project.
5. Q: When does my child bring home his/her artwork?
A: Students take home their artwork when it is completed or finished drying. Artwork is sent home in beautiful portfolio casings which can then be placed in an 9×12 portfolio. Students artwork are displayed on the website with a description of what they learned in each class. Parents can stay updated on what their child is learning by visiting the art class blog.
6. Q: How much does each semester cost?
A: A semester is divided into 8 classes over the course of 2 months for a total of $220. This includes all supplies.
7. Q: What ages are the classes for?
A:There are classes for boys and girls as well as adult classes. Boys ages 6-12 Girls ages 6 & up.
8. Q: How do I register for classes?
A: You can fill out the Registration form Here. Sending in the registration form does not finalize a position in the class. It simply lets me know that you are interested. Classes fill up quickly and are not always available. I will notify you upon receiving the registration form if there is room in the classes.
